Wouldn't it be awesome if your birthday were 11.1.11? After fourteen hours of contractions yesterday, we thought our little guy would definitely get that awesome birthday. But then, in a horribly cruel trick of nature, everything stopped and it turned out that it was all just a false alarm. At least we didn't go to the hospital. It's bad enough that I made Justin come home from work and Julie come pick up Colton to spend the night. Seriously, there's really nothing worse than being mentally prepared for the arrival of the baby, only to have nothing happen. Sheesh!

14 hours? How bad were they? You're a tough cookie, Bethany.
They weren't bad...which I guess should have been my first clue. I kept expecting them to get worse, but then they just stopped instead.
we stopped by to see you and the family on halloween, and heard from a few birds what was going on. :-)
On the bright side, now you can try to wait ten more days (heh heh) for an even cooler birthday! :)
Arg, but I was thinking right along with MariLouise that 11.11.11 would be WAY cooler. Hang in there, and he'll love you forever for that one! Hang in there, dear! He will come. Maybe he's waiting for you to choose his name. : ) Good Luck!
