Survived

Imagine this face (and the associated crying). Now put this face on an airplane. Then times that by five hours. Actually make the last hour not even sad crying but full on angry screaming. All I can say is that I'm glad Justin will be with me on the flight home.

I'm sorry :( I'll be flying alone with Sadie this month and I'm really afraid that I'll have the same problem. I can't think of anything more stressful.

That's so sad. Don't you just hate it! For me, I can handle the crying and screaming, I just feel so bad for everyone else on the plane... Poor guy. Did you have him drink or suck on something during take off? Did his ears maybe just never pop? For the flight home, bring a dum dum or two. :o)

Sad... you were one of *those* parents. That just stinks. I did read that having a bottle during takeoff/landing helps with the ear pressure.

Flying with kids is awful. No naps - no where to go - no where to nurse or change diapers but on your lap...i'm glad justin can help on the way home. You can pass him off and say "i did it myself the way here...now it's your turn" :) Hope to see you on Monday at Nance's pool!!

I just went through the same thing with Camden on the way home from TX!!! We had a layover and both flights were delays so we can on the runway. Camden was literally SCREAMING at the top of his lungs for most of it. FUN!

Darn that stewardess who wouldn't let us sit together!! I maintain though, that we were sitting right in front of you, and barely heard him until the very end. My heart broke for you knowing that nothing could be done. He's so darn cute I don't think anyone minded a bit. Hope the flight home is better! And hooray for a seatmate!
